EEP is an ether ester solvent which evaporates slowly. It possesses
an ether ester group, a linear structure, and a propionyl group, which gives it properties not found in other solvents as :
(1)the volatilization rate is slow;
(2)the solvent cracking is not easy to occur in baking applications;
(3)it has a high solubility for a wide range of polymers;
(4)the solution viscosity is low (relative to its evaporation rate); (5)the coating film has a good Solvent release;
(6)in a wide range of coatings it have good fluidity and uniform coating properties;
(7)low odor, low surface tension, and high resistivity;
(8)it can prevent silver powder from thickening, blackening, and yellow change as the special fixing function;
(1)for coating solvents
EEP has good dissolving power and is a slow-drying solvent. It can be used in automotive original paints, refinishes, plastic paints, electrostatic paints and marine coatings.
(2)for microelectronics, display field EEP can be used as a cleaning agent for photoresist residue in microelectronics and liquid crystal display.
